Lead time for a part on the same model varies from days to weeks depending on the supply channel. Every day an imaging device waits is a postponed examination, so ask about average response time before buying, not after.

Warranty and accountability

A device bought outside the authorised channel can leave manufacturer warranty open to dispute and the chain of responsibility unclear. Buying from an authorised distributor means the problem gets solved rather than argued over.

Registration and regulation

Medical devices in Türkiye are expected to be registered in the national product tracking system. Confirming a device's registration status is a check to perform before purchase, not during an inspection.

Training and commissioning

Using a device to its capability depends as much on user training as on installation. The training given during commissioning shapes the quality of images that device produces for years afterwards.
