What Is the Poskom AirRay-20?

The AirRay-20 is a fully battery-powered portable X-ray generator developed by the South Korean manufacturer Poskom. At 4.8 kg with a centrally balanced handle, one person can carry it, mount it on a tripod and be ready to expose within minutes.

With 1.6 kW output across 50–90 kV and 8–20 mA, the AirRay-20 is not limited to extremity work — it has the power class for torso and chest imaging in the field, which separates it from smaller handheld units.
